Today’s entry: Bare hands
Tell me again how I am not good enough? Tell me how a man like me cannot build a future like this?
The man looked at his hands, blisters and all.
These are medals, he thought. My honor visible in my hands.
”Do you think we can pull it off?” A large hand suddenly rested on his shoulder.
”I am sure of it, Sam”
The grip around his shoulder hardened. ”I am too.”
They both looked at the giant ’S’ and admired the future they were building.
”Sara has coffee ready if you want some,” Sam said.
”How is she doing?”
Sam winked. ”Lets just say that the prototype is gaining some real following.”
The man looked over his shoulder towards the woman who had been wandering back and forth with a phone to her ear for days. She gave him a thumbs up and smiled.
”F*ck!” The man said. ”We are changing the world.”
”Yes, Douglas. And I got the feeling this is only the beginning.”
”You and me both,” the man said. ”We will create miracles.”
Sam laughed as they walked to their friend with a phone to her ear. Later that night they would celebrate by the building they built themselves. Their first sale would come just a day later. And an enterprise was born.
