Today’s entry: Collective Consciousness

Enjoy!

They all screamed in his head. The souls of what once was. The broken, the returned, the not good enough. Their pain magnified in their collective screams.
This was what it was all about. Xander laughed. Total power.
His was torn between all the wills seeking revenge on him and the world that hurt them. Xander directed the hate forward, and the President’s quarter’s right wing was turned to dust. New souls joined his already fractured being.
Outside the president’s quarters Marge stood screaming at him.
”What are you doing?” Xander read on her lips.
The souls burst into a soul-slitting screech.
”I am doing what you asked me to,” Xander said. ”I make them pay for what they have done. You will pay too for all you have done!”
The street vanished under the raw force sent onto it. No soul joined the screeching echo in Xander’s mind.
Lucky you, Marge, he thought, and directed his attention towards the building in need for destruction. Men walked out through the doors. Their bodies vaporized, their mind joined the echo.
Xander let all the voices free and saw the sky turn red. The red fell down on the street, and all left was the ground that once stood proud before civilization took over.
The president joined the chorus.
Welcome, Xander thought. Let’s show you what power really is.
